DUKE 125 incorporates "less" design of the older sisters, a very aggressive look, combined with small enough, exactly what they want young people to whom is dedicated the object. We liked very much the instrumentation, both because it has a sporty look, both because it is really rich of features. This is even an onboard computer that updates the average consumption (which varies from 2.8 l to 3.4 liters per 100 kilometers) in relation to the instantaneous speed. It should also be added that maintaining the open knob gas consumption rise quite acceptable, however.

The DUKE was created completely in 125 India, choice made to contain the price to the public and to compete with the Japanese competition. It should be noted that the small single cylinder KTM is Yes assembled in India (at Chakan, to be precise), but the project is European. Duke 125 is not inexpensive, but technically it is very refined. His four-stroke single-cylinder, in fact, is a veritable jewel: the liquid cooled, four-valve distribution, operated by rocker arms even to finger (solution used on Supersport and f. 1), a balance shaft to reduce vibrations and the electronic Bosch fuel injection. In addition, all cables are hidden perfectly and overall design is very "clean". The frame is made of steel, aluminium alloy swingarm (developed for the merger). The latter has showy reinforcement, which also play an important aesthetic function. Components has little to envy to the maxi moto. The suspensions come from WP and the fork has the stalks of 43 mm in diameter; the brakes are Bybre (a trademark secured by Brembo for the Asian market) and on the front there is even the caliper radially. In short, to manage 11 kW and 118 kg, there is everything necessary and even more.
