MONACO, May 23- Toni Elias runs not in danger of being fired from the LCR Honda team, despite his disappointing debut in the MotoGP class in 2011. The defending champion in the first Moto2 indeed got four races as a best result of ninth place. In three of the four races he qualified last, but LCR Honda boss Lucio Cecchinello, denied rumors about a possible appiedamento of Elias. «Change the pilot is something that we don't have going to do at this moment, because it wouldn't be fair to Tones», said Cecchinello. "We must give it more time: the reality is that MotoGP is a very high level and if we changed the pilot who could take over? Which a pilot can assures me in the top ten result?».
TWO OR THREE RACES TO GO AT THE TOP- Cecchinello then proves to be very patient and understanding with the Spanish. "We think the smarter way to manage this difficult start to the season is to stay calm and focused and keep working to give the bike they want Tones and look for a small improvement at every race. We are very realistic. Our goal for the results is to remain in the top ten. We have at the moment, but we made some small improvements and if we continue in this direction, then maybe in two or three races will get a result closer to the top ten. Toni has demonstrated in the past that with proper motion is able to do very, very well», he closed the manager of the CRL.
