Yakhnich Motorsport became the organizer of Russian Round of the Superbike World Championship, acquiring television rights and marketing for the Russian market. The stated aim is to bring the Championship SBK in Russia already in 2012, and in this regard are ongoing contacts with different circuits in the process to request approval FIM.

We think that the Championship SBK is the instrument best suited to develop Russian motorcycle market, along with a sports project that involves the growth of young Russian pilots internationally in our four categories ".
Alexander Yakhnich he added: "we are honored to have achieved this prestigious objective. Thanks to the decisive support of the Russian Government, in the person of Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov, the motorcycling Russian is preparing to host the World Superbike Championship and to encourage the growth of this sport in our country, in the best possible way. "
During the ceremony, which was also attended by Paul Ciabatti, General Manager of the Championship SBK and Alexander Lunkin, President of the motorcycle Federation of Russia, was also presented the cup of the two countries, Italian EMU competition pilots and Russians with "Open Stock 600", which will take place at Misano on June 12th under the San Marino Round of SBK Championship, and the new track Canyon of Kazan (Russia) on 21 August.
